All In Total Commitment Recap

All In might just be getting started, but it's never to soon to celebrate what God has done so far to bring us to this stage in our church ministry history.

Quarter 2 Update from Pastor Alex

198 people have been baptized from December 2021 through May 2022

At South Tulsa, the Kids expansion and remodel is 16% complete. The architect team is moving forward with development of the drawings set. Interior design drawing set is being finalized.

We had an incredible two weeks of kids camp. We hosted 602 campers, 171 Dream Teamers, and the best part is that 37 kids made a decision to follow Christ!

We have 21 BattleCreek Institute Interns learning and serving this summer. We’re also taking steps to utilize the Institute to staff and dream teamer training.

Over 12,000 people attended services at our Tulsa-area campuses between Good Friday and Easter. The most of any Easter weekend at BattleCreek Church. When you add in online, it’s over 20,000 total.

Quarter 1 Update from Pastor Alex

Dear BattleCreek Family,

In December of 2021 we launched the 2-year All In initiative with the primary goal of 100% Engagement and a secondary goal of raising $50 million. Someone recently asked me, “Why?” The answer is simple: we want to leave a lasting Gospel impact in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, in our Nation and in our world. How do we make this lasting impact for God? How do we really make our lives count for the glory of God?

Take a look at Abraham. His lasting impact is as rich as anybody who has ever lived. He is the father of Judaism and eventually Christianity. His is the very definition of someone who went ALL IN for God and made a lasting impact, despite having made his own mistakes along the way. He did do one thing right: when he heard God’s voice and commands, he obeyed even when he didn’t understand.

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place, which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8)

We are called to do the same: believe in God’s promises and then obey his commands. When we do so – both individually and as a church – we will change the world. When we go ALL IN, we will see Heaven come down to Earth and God start moving in powerful and miraculous ways.

Enclosed are just a few of the many stories of how people just like you at BattleCreek Church are going All In to create a lasting impact for God’s glory. Thank you for your part in our story and let me encourage you to keep stepping out in faith, trusting God to lead you to a life of great meaning and purpose.

Your Pastor,

108 People have been baptized from December 2021 through February 27, 2022.

We had our largest TUL WKND ever with over 850 students and leaders in attendance.

We purchased new translation equipment, a new sound board, and a 15 passenger van to help our Downtown campus break barriers.

We’ve partnered with a Rosa Parks Elementary to use Care Portal to reach needs in the community. We’re looking to start Care Portal in another local public school soon.

Celebrate Recovery launched in 2022. It has been so successful that it’s now the largest CR meeting in  Oklahoma, helping more people find freedom.

BattleCreek Institute launched with 8 part time students. They are in the midst of recording training curriculum videos and laying groundwork for full-time courses to launch in the fall of 2022.

South Tulsa Kids Expansion project kicked off in November 2021 as we solicited proposals from qualified design/construction management firms. Stava Building Construction, d5 Concepts, and CJC Architects were selected to work with BattleCreek Church to program, design, and construct our new South Tulsa Kids building.

At Broken Arrow we are in the process of renovating the Students Area, including new furniture and a new state of the art sound system for our High School room.

At Midtown we replaced the projectors in the auditorium in February, drastically improving the Sunday morning experience for the sermon.
