Find a group

God uses friends to help us grow in our faith and support us when life gets tough. We’ve made finding friends like this easy. We have groups for women, men, singles, married, empty nesters, young adults and more. Life is better together!

Three ways to join an existing Community Group:
Option 1

Search online via our Community Group Finder tool

Discover the perfect community group for you by using our online tool. Filter by location, interests, and availability to find a group that fits your schedule and spiritual needs.

Option 2

Attend our next Group Expo

Meet group leaders and members face-to-face at our Group Expo. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, get to know people, and find a group that feels like home. Don’t miss this chance to connect in person and start building meaningful relationships.

Option 3

Drop by the Connect Center after any Worship Service

Visit our Connect Center after any worship service to speak with our team. They can help you find a community group that matches your interests and availability, and even introduce you to some of the members. This personal touch ensures you feel welcomed and supported from the start.

Frequently asked questions

At BattleCreek Church, we're not just a church with groups but a church of groups!

How long does each group meeting last?

Generally an hour-and-a-half to two hours.

Can I join a Group at any time?

All of our groups are “open” groups. You can visit or join at any time. You are free to visit other groups at any point during the semester to determine which group is best for you. We do encourage you to “land” at a group as quickly as you can and try to connect for that semester and then if it isn’t a fit, try another group the next semester.

What goes on at a group meeting?

Though each group differs in how they do things, many groups have social time in the beginning, then they transition to group discussions or Bible study, and then they spend time praying for each other. Some groups also end their time in groups of guys and gals for accountability and prayer.

How often do Groups meet?

Most groups meet weekly. It is up to each Groups leader when his or her group meets each week during the year. Breaks in children’s environments are scheduled during the Christmas season, spring break, and summer. Due to vacation schedules, groups consisting of married couples with children often do not meet during these times.

Where do my children go while I attend a Group?

Childcare is offered on Sunday and Wednesday nights for kids (6 weeks-5th grade) at the times listed below at each of our locations. Student ministry (6th-12th grade) is offered on Wednesday nights at all our Tulsa area campuses from 6:30-8:00p.m.

Sundays 5:15-7:45p.m.

6 weeks-5th Grade

Wednesdays 6:00-8:30p.m.

6 weeks-5th Grade

On what days of the week do Groups meet?

One of the great things about Groups is that they fit with every person’s schedule. Pick the day and time that works best for you then select the group nearest to you that works. Please check with the group leader for specific times. Or, you can start your own group.
